Freedom Holding Corp. supported the renovation and expansion of IQanat High School of Burabay

This evening, the Chief Executive Officer of Freedom Holding Corp., Timur Turlov, together with the Akim of the Akmola region, Marat Akhmetzhanov, and IQanat trustees took part in the opening of the new building of IQanat school in Borovoye.

The 2500 sq. m multifunctional complex, called Freedom House, has a planetarium, amphitheatre, recording studio, IT and STEM labs, library, gym and fitness rooms, chess club, workshops for pottery and art, and cooperative working spaces.

Thanks to the opening of the new campus, up to 800 gifted children from rural areas all over Kazakhstan will be able to receive a first-class education and take courses at IQanat annually.

“The main wealth of our country is people. One person can do a lot, but together we can achieve something really significant. The future of our country directly depends on how educated you and I will be, and how much our love for the country will turn into real deeds,” Turlov commented.

“The children who are studying here now, together, can change our country for the better and I am convinced that many of them will succeed in business, science, public administration, arts and sports. The education received here will not only become a benchmark, but will also make a significant contribution to solving problems of inequality,” Timur Turlov said in his speech to the schoolchildren who also saw their new building for the first time.

Note that Timur Turlov has been a trustee of the IQanat project since 2019.
