Timur Turlov proposed integrating Freedom Finance’s digital services with government services in Kazakhstan

At a Kazakh government meeting, Timur Turlov, founder of Freedom Holding Corp., presented Freedom Finance’s capabilities for digitizing public and insurance services. He emphasized the company’s digital solutions for streamlining insurance processes and reducing the bureaucratic burden on state agencies.

Turlov noted that Freedom Finance’s digital solutions are already integrated with 21 government databases in Kazakhstan. For instance, they are linked to the IS PSC 2.0 platform, enabling drivers to purchase car insurance during vehicle registration.

The founder of the holding also recalled the mechanism of the European Protocol, which makes it possible to simplify the procedure for registration of minor accidents with damage up to 100 monthly calculation indices, or about 306 thousand tenge in 2024. This eliminates the need for police involvement and court cases.

Our service, dtp.kz, cuts insurance payout processing to five days, compared to the standard three months,» said Turlov.

Despite the available technological solutions, the level of use of simplified procedures remains insufficient. To solve this problem, Turlov proposed integrating insurance services into popular government applications, including eGov and 102.

According to the company, this integration would simplify accident reporting for users, ease the load on courts, and reduce traffic delays.
